Factors and Procedures Used in Admissions

Full-time program

Applicants apply online during one of four admission rounds. Selected applicants are invited to interview. Greatest weight is given to academic ability as measured by the GMAT and undergraduate GPA, work experience, leadership potential, and fit with Terry's student culture. Immediate post-MBA career goals and the long-term career vision articulated in the essays are also considered.

Executive program

Does the candidate have the perspective, intellectual capacity, and the drive and discipline to successfully complete all program requirements? Will the program content add significant value, given the candidate's current position in the organization and his/her potential for future growth? Will the candidate's experience and expertise add to the educational experience of all participants?

Part-time program

Candidates must possess the academic qualifications, drive and discipline to successfully complete the program while remaining fully employed. Greatest weight is given to work experience, career growth potential, and expected contribution to the experiential learning of the entire class. Application and recommendations are submitted online, and decisions are made on a rolling admissions basis.
